Subject: Election to be a Finalist in the Recommendation Report Project

Hello Dr. Marrs:

In regard to our previous correspondence about the recommendation report project, our proposal was elected as a finalist. What that means is that we are able to move forward with the project for the improvement of event advertising and my team will be partnering with you to recommend ideas that may help make your idea a reality.

The competition process included 24 proposals and a blind vote to elect 4 finalists

The process was incredibly competitive. There were 24 local businesses and organizations represented by students. Based on a 90 second pitch, the students voted for the 4 finalists. Of those candidates, the IUPUI chapter of Women4Change was chosen to move forward.

The recommendation report process consists of many moving parts, all compiled into a report website

The project is centered around a final recommendation report that will be presented to you May 5th. The team will do the following in order to create the final product:

Spend 100+ hours compiling research for the report
Conduct a local study based upon your target audience
Analyze data recorded from the study, as well as from other studies we have researched
Shape recommendations
Review of literature
Build an individualized website to compile the recommendation report

The next step includes scheduling a team meeting

Next, we will schedule a date and time to meet and discuss your thoughts for what you want to get out of the project. Which of the following times work best for you?

At the meeting, we will ask if the IUPUI Women4Change chapter has any previous research about the topic, any professional publications the organizations tends to gravitate toward, any set budget and finally, some of your hopes for the recommendation report.
