DESIGN BASICS

There are three steps to consider when you are designing your ePortfolio:

  1. Decide on the purpose and audience of your ePortfolio

  2. Consider "Folio Thinking" - your reflective practice to guide your ePortfolio use

  3. Think about website engagement within your ePortfolio

Pull-out quotes may be quotes from another person or external resource, or they may be important sentences in your writing that need emphasis.

3 MOMENTS WITH ORIENTING INFO

This is information that clarifies context like WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN and WHY.

3 PARAGRAPH DESIGN CHOICES

These are design choices that enhance readability, such as paragraph spacing, readable fonts and colors, and appropriate backgrounds.
