Project Introduction
I chose to do a project-based ePortfolio for my senior capstone because I felt that this medium would allow me to showcase both my experience while shadowing at Indiana Physical Therapy (IPT) and my research skills as I studied chronic and acute pain and adult versus pediatric treatment. I work on campus as an ePortfolio Senior Ambassador through the Institute for Engaged Learning, so I am able to bring my knowledge from this position to my capstone project. I also feel that an ePortfolio serves as an excellent tool to reflect on the capstone process, as well as my experience as an IUPUI student as my time here draws to a close.

In this ePortfolio, you will read about how I became interested in physical therapy and why I am choosing to pursue this career. Part of what cemented my decision was through my experience shadowing at Indiana Physical Therapy, so you will also be able to see the goals I set for myself while shadowing, how I accomplished these goals, and my overall thoughts on my experience and IPT.
Aside from my shadowing experience, I have also researched the topics of chronic versus acute pain and adult versus pediatric treatment. I searched multiple online databases for scholarly articles written about these topics within the past few years. I have made detailed note outlines upon reading these articles and have showcased this research in my ePortfolio.

Finally, you will read about my reflection on my capstone experience. I am proud of this project and am happy I got to integrate my knowledge from my job as an ePortfolio Senior Ambassador into my capstone project that showcases my passion for physical therapy.
